About Me

Annika Altura is a New York based chef originally from Manila. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Science from the world’s leading program at UC Davis, where her academic curiosity for all things culinary led her to the world of fine gastronomy.

Annika has spent the better half of a decade working in Michelin starred restaurants, honing her skills under some of modern fine-dining’s most prestigious chefs, including Michael Tusk and Junghyun “JP” Park. Now, you can find her behind the counter cooking at Lola’s, Suzanne Cupps’ recently opened restaurant in NoMad, NYC.

Annika’s training reflects global experience. Her thoughtful, research driven techniques are rooted in representing the Asian American experience. Annika was recently selected as a chef for the Lineup Dinner , a pop-up series that featuring up and coming New York City chefs.
